Overview

Connect2Cart supports USPS shipping through the built-in USPS shipping channel. Once the channel is added, USPS services will be available when rating and shipping orders.

The setup process only takes a few moments and only needs to be completed once.

Before You Begin

Before configuring USPS, make sure:

• Your Connect2Cart account has been created.
• Your account has access to USPS shipping services.

Step 1: Open Shipping Channels

1. Log in to Connect2Cart.
2. In the left navigation menu, go to:Channels → Shipping Channels
3. Click Add Channel.

Step 2: Select USPS

On the Shipping Channels page, select USPS from the list of available carriers.

Step 3: Name the Channel

Enter a descriptive name for the channel.

Example:

My USPS

This name is only used inside Connect2Cart to help you identify the channel.

Step 4: Review the Mailer ID

The Mailer ID field is filled in automatically.

No changes are required.

Step 5: Add the Channel

Click Add.

Connect2Cart will create the USPS shipping channel.

What Happens Next?

Once the channel is successfully added:

• USPS will appear in your Shipping Channels list.
• USPS services will be available during rate shopping.
• You can use USPS when purchasing shipping labels.
• No additional configuration is required.

Troubleshooting

USPS Does Not Appear During Rate Shopping

Verify that:

• The USPS channel was added successfully.
• The channel status shows Complete.
• The order is eligible for USPS services.

Channel Was Not Added

If the channel was not added:

1. Return to Channels → Shipping Channels.
2. Click Add Channel.
3. Select USPS.
4. Enter a channel name.
5. Click Add again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to enter USPS credentials?

No. The USPS channel is configured directly inside Connect2Cart.

What is the Mailer ID?

The Mailer ID is assigned automatically and is used by Connect2Cart when creating USPS shipments.

Can I rename the USPS channel later?

Yes. You can edit the channel name later if needed.
