Overview
Rate Shopping allows Connect2Cart to compare shipping services across all configured shipping carriers.
Instead of visiting multiple carrier websites, Connect2Cart retrieves available rates in a single step.
Browsing Rates
After entering the shipment information, click Browse Rates.
Connect2Cart retrieves shipping options from each configured carrier.
Results are displayed in the Estimated Rate panel.
Comparing Services
Each shipping service displays:
- Carrier
- Service Name
- Shipping Cost
- Estimated Delivery Date
Use this information to select the shipping option that best meets your needs.
Choosing a Service
When selecting a shipping service, consider:
- Lowest shipping cost
- Fastest delivery
- Delivery commitment
- Customer requirements
Purchasing the Label
Once you’ve selected a shipping service, click Create + Print Label.
Connect2Cart purchases the label using the selected service and immediately prints it.
Insurance
If Include Insurance in Rate Quotes is enabled, insurance costs are included in the displayed rates when available.
Tips
- Verify package weight before shopping rates.
- Enter package dimensions whenever possible.
- Compare both price and delivery date before purchasing a label.
- Different carriers may offer significantly different rates for the same shipment.
