Connecting Your Adobe Commerce Store

Overview

Connect2Cart integrates directly with Adobe Commerce using the Adobe Commerce REST API. Once connected, Connect2Cart will automatically begin importing new orders from your store and will keep shipment tracking and fulfillment status synchronized.

The setup process only takes a few minutes and only needs to be completed once.

Before You Begin

Before connecting Adobe Commerce, make sure:

  • You have administrator access to your Adobe Commerce store.
  • Your Connect2Cart account has already been created.
  • Your Adobe Commerce store is accessible via HTTPS.

Step 1: Create an Integration

  1. Log in to your Adobe Commerce Admin.
  2. Navigate to:System → Extensions → Integrations
  3. Click Add New Integration.

Step 2: Configure the Integration

Enter a name for the integration.

Example:

Connect2Cart

You may leave the remaining fields blank unless your organization requires them.

Step 3: Configure API Permissions

  1. Select the API tab.
  2. Grant the integration access to the resources required by Connect2Cart.

If available, selecting All resources is the simplest option. Otherwise, grant permissions for:

  • Orders
  • Shipments
  • Products
  • Inventory
  • Customers

Click Save.

Step 4: Activate the Integration

  1. Return to the Integrations page.
  2. Locate the new Connect2Cart integration.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. Review the requested permissions.
  5. Click Allow.

Adobe Commerce will generate an Access Token for the integration.

Copy the Access Token immediately and store it in a secure location.

Step 5: Connect Adobe Commerce to Connect2Cart

In Connect2Cart:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Incoming Channels.
  2. Click Add Channel.
  3. Select Adobe Commerce.
  4. Enter:
    • Store URL
    • Access Token
  5. Click Connect.

Connect2Cart will validate your credentials and establish the connection.

What Happens Next?

Once the connection is successful:

  • New Adobe Commerce orders will begin importing automatically within a few moments.
  • Shipment tracking numbers and fulfillment status will automatically be sent back to Adobe Commerce whenever orders are shipped through Connect2Cart.
  • No additional configuration is required for order imports or shipment updates.

Troubleshooting

Unable to Connect

Verify that:

  • The Store URL is correct and includes https://.
  • The Access Token was copied correctly.
  • The integration has been activated.
  • The required API permissions have been granted.

Orders Are Not Importing

If the connection was recently created, allow a few minutes for the initial synchronization to begin.

If orders still do not appear:

  • Verify the integration is still active.
  • Confirm the Access Token is valid.
  • Verify the Connect2Cart channel shows Connected.

Access Token No Longer Works

If the integration has been deleted or the Access Token has been regenerated:

  1. Create or reactivate the integration in Adobe Commerce.
  2. Generate a new Access Token.
  3. Update the Adobe Commerce channel in Connect2Cart.
